Coproduced by Shaolin Temple Wushu Training Center and Taiwan U Theatre, "A Touch of Zen" successfully mixed the martial arts and drumming together. The story is about a young man who does not know his parentage and wants to find out. In 2005, the production first appeared on the stage of the Taipei National Theatre for four sold-out performances. This was followed by the 34th Hongkong Arts Festival, then Rouen Theater of France Normandy Arts Festival in 2006 and the Chinese Festival of Arts in Singapore in 2007.
